Lucy Barrett, the great-looking lady in the middle, is pictured at a party celebrating her 100th birthday, held last month at Care Center East, the adult rehabilitative center located in Mid-County. Pictured with her are her daughter Rosemary Lucier, at left, and niece Mary Ellen Flynn. So what are Barrett's secrets for a long life? "Don't let anything get you down," she says. One of her other lifelong habits was that she walked every day until she was 95. Barrett has four children, six grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
