In last month's article, “Parkrose goes all-in with AVID” June 2013, we misspelled Portland Public School's Advancement Via Individual Determination Director Kelley Duron's name. In the same article, we misidentified PPS elementary school Jason Lee as H.B. Lee and we got the number of PPS schools that employ the AVID elective wrong. The correct number is 10, with two schools in the Roosevelt High School feeder cluster added next year. We regret the mistakes and apologize for the errors.
