Mid-County specialists meet the needs of hearing impaired
A commitment to placing business and professional ethics and integrity foremost in their working relationships has positioned Cascade Hearing & Audiology Centers at the forefront of their industry. Owner Dan King and his staff of 15 strive to always use the best technology available, maintain the highest standards in client care and still keep fees low. These values combined with lifetime free service on hearing aids purchased from one of five Oregon locations, has combined to create a strong referral and repeat customer base.

Education is critical to King and his staff as well. Cascade Hearing employees are well trained and frequently seek levels of knowledge beyond industry standards in order to offer their clients the most comprehensive service around.

An Oregon State University graduate, Dan King went on to earn his Masters Degree from George Fox University. He is currently the vice president of the Oregon Hearing Society and an active member of East Hill Church in Gresham.

A valued member of the Cascade Hearing team is Tina Willis, Hearing Care Specialist. Tina studied at Mt Hood Community College and currently resides in Oregon City with her husband, Gary, and two children. She is actively involved in children’s ministry at her church and has taught fitness at a local athletic club for more than 13 years.

Because over 28 million Americans suffer from some type of hearing loss, it is likely you or someone you love will face the effects of this disability. Call on Dan or Tina or one of the other caring members of the Cascade Hearing staff to address your concerns. The Cascade Hearing & Audiology office is located at 12790 S.E. Stark St., 503-253-3131.

Correction
The Mid-county Memo strives to be accurate and correct however, we sometimes make errors. In the March 2003 issues’ Business Memos we misidentified Touchstone Mortgage numerous times. With apologies we reprint the Business Memo item in its entirety.

Thinking about refinancing or buying a home?
The time is now. With rates lower than they’ve been in nearly 40 years, loan officers with Touchstone Mortgage Company are advising their clients to act now for the most savings.

Touchstone Mortgage offers a wide variety of loans as well as real estate services. Types of available loans include conforming, non-conforming, construction, remodeling, commercial, jumbo, balloon, adjustable rate and fixed rate. They also offer no money down loans and first time homebuyer programs. Schooner St. John, a loan officer with Touchstone says, “We have a loan for just about anybody.”

But Touchstone Mortgage offers more than just this wide range of services. Their trained loan officers add the personal touch. St. John stays with his clients every step of the way, from finding the right lender to making sure they understand the terms of the contract. He knows what it is like to be on the other side.

Two years ago, a friend helped him buy his first home through Touchstone Mortgage. After having such a positive experience with Touchstone, St. John became increasingly interested in the opportunities in selling and purchasing homes. He became a fully licensed loan officer and realtor in Oregon and Washington, joining Touchstone’s team. St. John enjoys the feeling of being able to help a family by saving them a substantial amount on their mortgage, and after two years on the job, is proud of working to help others achieve their dreams.

St. John urges, “Don’t let problem credit stop you from owning a home. I believe that owning a home is one of the most important steps anyone can take for their family, and I work every day to make that a reality for all my clients.” Just for Mid-county Memo readers, St. John is offering $100 off processing fees when you mention this article.

With Touchstone Mortgage, you will save time and money. They offer 12-hour turnaround on approvals, much faster than many other institutions. Touchstone has also built a relationship with dozens of lenders and can get you the best rates around - which can add up to substantial savings! With hundreds of lenders to choose from, you can find a loan tailored for you. You can also take advantage of the refinancing boom to lower monthly payments, pay off your loan sooner, or to cash out. Call today to find out how Touchstone Mortgage can help you save money.
