25 years and still growing

Denny & Joyce Edelen started Edelen Custom Doors & Windows in 1977.

Local residents Denny and Joyce Edelen have been successfully building their family owned and operated business here in Portland for 25 years. Edelen Custom Doors & Windows started in 1977 as a small operation, with Denny Edelen selling and installing garage doors from his home. Joyce did the bookkeeping in the evenings after returning home from her job as a legal secretary. Eventually the business did well enough that Joyce was able to quit her job and work full-time with her husband.

Denny Edelen has experience with the industry dating from 1966, when he first learned the trade from his brother after his discharge from the Air Force.
