MEETINGS
Participate in history and philanthropy
The history of Russellville Kiwanis Club extends all the way back to the Vanport Flood of 1948. Volunteers from Parkrose who had come together to help victims of the flood decided that they should stay together as a group and formed the Parkrose Kiwanis Club. Over time the club evolved into what is now Russellville Kiwanis. This current group of dedicated folks is looking to find new people to carry on the traditions of community service begun so long ago.

Russellville Kiwanis lends its support to SnowCap Community Charities, Ronald McDonald House, DayBreak Family Shelter, Children's Book Bank, Shepherd's Door Shelter, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp for disabled children and youth, Parkrose Little League and Parkrose Shaver Elementary School Life Skills Awards Program.

To become part of this historic and helpful organization, drop in to one of its weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 11:45 a.m. at The Refectory Restaurant, 1618 N.E. 122nd Ave. To sweeten the pot, members will buy your lunch the first time you attend a meeting.

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, Versie Meyer, the Lt. Gov. of Kiwanis Division 62, will speak. On Feb. 9, the speaker will be Stephanie Bolton of Albertina Kerr. To learn more, contact Charlie Ross at 503-252-1570.
