David slays Goliath

We at Papa Java’s Espresso Stand at Northeast 122nd and Glisan Street want to express our sincere thanks to the community for all their help and support during our struggle to stay at our current location. Papa Java’s was recently given notice to vacate the premises in favor of a Starbucks. Just this week, Papa Java’s has been granted an extension to their lease. Now, we’ll be able to still serve our friends and the community. A special thank you goes to Mike Waldroff, Safeway store manager at the Glisan Street Station. Among others, Waldroff went all out in the effort to help us stay.
Our Sincere Thanks,
Angie, Tina, Melissa Oravetz and Barry Barber
