East District Assessment map shown

During its May general membership meeting held at the Portland Fire Bureau’s Training Center in Parkrose, City Planner Barry Manning shows Argay Neighborhood Association members the city’s East District Assessment Map. Manning compiled these assessments during the last eight months after talking to affected neighborhood associations and their land use committees. Though preliminary, the assessments are based on review of existing plans and projects that will have an effect on the eastside such as 205 light rail. There are no projects lined up as of now. Ongoing discussions are being held about all issues in the indicated areas. A circled “T” indicates planned I-205 light rail stations.
