A look back at what was happening in February 1986

In the February 1986 issue, the Mid-county Memo did a story on the fledgling Parkrose Business Association and it’s then president.

After merging the former Parkrose Chamber of Commerce and the Parkrose Merchants Association in 1985, first PBA President Glenyce Densem — her name (and a word in the headline) was incorrectly spelled in the original article — turned the reins of the PBA over to its second, new President Bill Krusee, profiled here.

Now entering its 21st year, the PBA has grown to nearly 100 members, produces a cruise-in annually and awards scholarships to Parkrose High School students.
