Father, son volunteer at Parkrose park

Hunter Dieter helps his father Jeff Dieter plant iris bulbs at Senn's Dairy Park in Parkrose during a recent volunteer effort. Neighbors like the Dieters planted bulbs and made pinecone suet bird feeders to hang in the park. The 1.08-acre site, once home of the family-owned Senn's Dairy, was acquired by the city in 2000. Development of the park has been the result of years of work by dedicated community volunteers and activists.
