Royal signs with Corban University
Portland Christian High senior Jordan Keegan has signed his letter of intent to play soccer for Corban University in Salem. Keegan lettered in varsity soccer, basketball and baseball his freshman and sophomore years for the Royals, but consecutive knee injuries sidelined him from all sports his last two years. Warriors Coach Aaron Lewis, a Portland Christian alumnus (1995) recognized Keegan’s soccer skills early on and made a point to keep track of him. Impressed by his perseverance and continued dedication to his team and his sport while on the injury list, Coach Lewis offered a place on the Corban team. Keegan will red shirt the 2017 fall season with limited practice time while he completes his recovery from a final knee surgery, and he will join the team full-time once his medical release is official.
