This month, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is opening a store in Parkrose. A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Thursday, Aug. 11, and a grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13. Rob Mode, Grocery Outlet’s independent operator, invites Memo readers to join their celebration. “We are thrilled to open a new Grocery Outlet here in Parkrose to bring our neighbors the most exciting way to save money on their groceries,” said Mode. “The partnership with Grocery Outlet allows me to be a true entrepreneur, creating more than 30 new jobs and having a positive impact on our community.”
The first 100 customers in line on Aug. 13 have the chance to win one of two $250 gift cards; the other 98 customers will each receive a $10 gift card. The new Parkrose Grocery Outlet is located at 10721 N.E. Sandy Blvd. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
