New city okay, but what about school district boundaries?

To the editor:
I first learned about a new city for East County on Facebook. I’m a second-generation Parkrose resident and am in favor of this. I did not want to be annexed [into the city of Portland]. I read a comment and saw the map that [the proposed new city] begins at I-205. The annexation began with the city limits at 82nd. This is Parkrose. If we become a new city, what school district would the kids between 82nd and I-205 belong to? The de-annexation should include the original annexed area.
