First branch opens for 65-year-old company
The Oregon Telco Community Credit Union (OTCCU) is very excited to become a part of the business community in the Mall 205 area. Their first branch is located on the corner of S.E. 105th Avenue and S.E. Washington Street. This new branch features state of the art technology and the interior design is quite unique.

“For the past 65 years OTCCU has delivered financial services to our members through remote techniques, but with the opportunity to serve a greater number of Oregonians, we feel it is important to “put a face with our name” in the communities we serve,” stated President/CEO, Patricia E. Smith.

Although OTCCU launched its first branch in August, it has been on the Oregon financial scene since 1937. Founded as a credit union to serve telecommunication employees, it has experienced steady growth from its modest beginnings.

Today OTCCU is Oregon’s third largest credit union with assets of $560 million and serving approximately 40,000 members. They credit their growth to the steadfast support of members, their competitive savings rates, low competitive loan rates, minimal service fees and personalized service. While OTCCU has grown over the years, it has maintained the same friendly and personal service of a smaller, local financial provider.

“The welcome mat is out,” says Jeannine Tune, Mall 205 branch manager. “Take a tour of our beautiful new branch! We’d love to provide information on how you can enjoy the benefits of a great credit union. Lifetime membership begins with a $5 savings deposit!”

Oregon Telco Community Credit Union’s Mall 205 Branch is conveniently located at S.E. 105th Avenue and S.E. Washington Street, across from Plaza 205. If you live or work in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion, Polk or Yamhill County, you can apply for OTCCU membership. Check out OTCCU at www.otccu.com or call 503-227-5571.
