About the Mid-county Memo

Founded in May 1985, the advertiser supported neighborhood newspaper circulates 17,000 copies monthly in a geographic-specific area of east Portland, Oregon.

More than 15,000 issues are mailed to every home in the area bounded on the east and west, respectively, by Northeast 82nd and 162nd avenues, and on the north and south, by Sandy Boulevard and East Burnside Street.

An additional 2,000 copies are distributed at popular gathering places throughout Mid-Multnomah County.

The Memo reports on news and positive forces, issues and people in the Gateway and Parkrose neighborhoods in Mid-Multnomah County.

Every month, the Memo publishes pertinent school, neighborhood and business news in the print version and daily in the Memo’s blog.

The Memo circulation area encompasses one school district entirely, the Parkrose School District, along with parts of two others in outer northeast and southeast Portland: David Douglas and Reynolds.
