Book Babies: Storytime for children newborn to 12 months. Mondays through July 26 from 10:15 to 11 a.m.
Tiny Tots: Storytime for children 12 to 24 months. Tuesdays through July 27 from 10:15 to 11 a.m.
Toddler Storytime: Storytime for children 24 to 36 months. Wednesdays through July 28 from 10:15 to 11 a.m.

Jen and Wendy’s Kee-razy Campfire: Sing along to campfire standards like you’ve never heard them before. Singing sisters Jen and Wendy bring to life outdoorsy favorites such as Home on the Range, The Canoe Song and Kum Ba Ya. Expect lots of audience participation and fun for the whole family. Thursday, July 1 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
String Games and Stories with Anne Glover: Anne Glover’s wizardry will give you the keys to creating string creations! Anne’s stories combine sign language, string figures, uncanny sound effects, and charming characters speaking a mix of English and French. Thursday, July 1 from 7 to 7:45 p.m.
Captain Bogg and Salty’s Pirate Band: Weigh anchor with Captain Bogg and Salty as they perform pirate jigs, galloping rock and mermaid lullabies. Discover the tradition of pirate music as the band sings tales and tunes for buccaneers of all ages accompanied by guitar, drums, toy piano, melodica and xylophone. Thursday, July 8 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Zany-alphanimalbet for Kids: Use animal figures to create a zany initial or monogram using markers, watercolors and gold paint. Thursday, July 15 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Cantos y Juegos: Join Tlaxcalan musician Hugo Nava as he sings and plays traditional music in Nahuatl, P’urhe’pecha and Spanish. Audience participation in this Spanish and English program is encouraged. Saturday, July 17 from 2 to 3 p.m.
K9 Heroes: Meet a canine hero and learn how these intelligent dogs train for search and rescue. You’ll also learn about wilderness survival and what to take with you when you’re exploring the woods. Presented by Search ONE K9 Detection. Thursday, July 22 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
Pigtasia: Enjoy performing pot-bellied pigs. Thursday, July 29 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Read to the Dogs: Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to therapy dogs from the Dove Lewis Animal Assisted Therapy Program. Pre-registration required; call 503-988-5392. Thursdays, July 8 and 22 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Mondays, July 12 and 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Pageturners: Engage in stimulating conversation about books! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Join library staff and friends and neighbors for a combined meeting and planning party of the afternoon and evening book groups. Wednesday, July 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
