Parkrose Church installs new pastor

The Reverend Margaret (Peg) Grzelkowski answers parishoners questions prior to the ceremony installing her as pastor of Parkrose Community United Chuch of Christ.

On Sunday, August 26 a ceremony of installation was held at Parkrose Community United Church of Christ installing Reverend Margaret (Peg) Grzelowski as pastor and teacher. After 29 years of being led by the Reverend Charlie Ross parishioners welcomed their new pastor with open arms. Reverend Grzelowski is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and received her Masters of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor Maine.

An “Army brat”, Peg was raised in Asmara, Eritrea and Ankara, Turkey. Pastor Peg has worked as both a prison and hospital chaplain. Pastor Peg’s husband, Slawomir was born in Poland and immigrated to America in 1961. The Grzelowski’s reside in Troutdale.
