Book Babies: Storytime for children newborn to 12 months. Tuesdays from 10:15 to 11 a.m.

Tiny Tots: Storytime for children 12 to 24 months. Wednesdays from 10:15 to 11 a.m.

Adventures of a Snail and an Ant: Join Amy Gray of Zing Productions as she brings puppets Avon and Edward to life in this adaptation of Avi's story, "The End of the Beginning." Sunday, March 18 from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. and 4 to 4:45 p.m.

Shadow Puppet Workshop: Explore light, shadow and movement with artist Kathy Karbo as she shows you how to make your own shadow puppet. Registration is required. Register online, in the library or by calling 503-988-5234. Tuesday, March 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Celebrate Seuss: National award-winning storyteller Christopher Leebrick shares Dr. Seuss stories as well as delightful multicultural tales. Suitable for ages 5 to 105. Free tickets for seating will be available 30 minutes prior to the program. Thursday, March 29 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.

Teen Lounge and Homework Center: Use library computers, get homework help, or just do your homework and listen to music. For teens in grades 6-12. Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Mad Science-Spin, Pop, Boom: See an assortment of chemical and physical changes. Colors will transform and amazing sounds will play from Flaming Didgeridoos, a genie will erupt from a flask, two liquids will combine to form a solid, and a geyser of hot foam will astonish you. Free tickets for seating will be available 30 minutes prior to the program. Saturday, March 3 from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

Read to the Dogs SM: Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog from the DoveLewis Animal Assisted Therapy and Education Program. Registration is required. Call 503-988-5392. Mondays, March 5 and 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Bicycle Maintenance for Teens: Nationally known "Bicycling Magazine" columnist and author Joe "Metal Cowboy" Kurmaskie will offer up the best tips in his panniers for repairing and maintaining your bike. Talk Time: Talk Time is an informal conversation circle for non-native speakers to practice speaking English.
