MBank employees promoted
MBank is pleased to announce the appointment of Vicky Mills, Marianne Ross and Kathy Grimes as assistant vice presidents. The appointments are in recognition of personal efforts, technical skills and overall contributions to MBank.

“We are fortunate to have these three individuals be a part of MBank. Their roles in our bank greatly impact our current and future success,” commented Ron Shoemake, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Mills assumes the duties of compliance officer. She manages the compliance department and oversees the compliance program to ensure compliance with the acts, laws and regulations affecting MBank.

Ross is the bank’s internal auditor who independently evaluates the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, policies and procedures, and reports her findings directly to the board of directors.

As senior operations officer, Grimes is responsible for coordinating and participating in the development, implementation and monitoring of branch and central operations, products and procedures.

Cleary’s staff loyal, dedicated
Many of the spirited staff at Cleary’s Restaurant & Spirits, 12429 N.E. Glisan St. in Menlo Park Plaza, have been there almost since the beginning 11 years ago. Wes and Mercedes Cleary set out to establish a comfortable eatery with home cooked meals, with everything on the menu made fresh daily.

In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner specials, Cleary’s has come to be known for its mouth-watering barbequed baby back ribs that appear on the menu twice a month, and tender, juicy Kansas City steaks.

Open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until midnight, Saturday from 8 a.m. until midnight, and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. you will surely find something to satisfy your taste buds for any meal. Recently added, the weekend breakfast specials are also sure to please.

For the Irish in all of us, Cleary’s has big plans in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Because this group really loves to party, they plan to wear the green and serve their famous corned beef and cabbage on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18. Unless you are looking to get pinched, we recommend you wear green as well.

It was in March of last year that owners Geoff Wittreich, at the left of photo, and Chong Jones opened their pet-boarding facility, located five minutes from Portland International Airport. The two are pictured with some of the canine guests at the spacious kennel. For more information, call 503-255-1388 or visit the Web site at www.AirPetHotel.com.
