September Computing Tip

Edit - Undo

In most software programs, there is one command that can become your best

friend.

It's called undo.

After deleting a line of text, or turning someone's skintone too green

in a family photo, or whatever mistake you make, try to "Undo" what you've just done before you Redo things the long way.

Just go to the "Edit" pulldown menu, and choose "Undo".

Not all software programs have it, but most do, and it can save you lots of time.

Remember though, that you have to use it immediately after the mistake is

made.  If you "do" something else first, then you can't "Undo" the mistake anymore.
