In 2006, a group from the studio - named Judy Marsh School of Dance then - made the same trip to perform at Disneyland.

Forty dancers, along with 20 parents, friends and instructors are making the trek south to Anaheim. “We're really excited,” Marsh said. “The kids, their parents and teachers have worked very hard to make this trip possible; that's not even counting the practice time.”

The studio, at 11933 N.E. Halsey Street in Gateway, offers classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, hip-hop and Musical Theatre. X-Treme NW dancers perform locally. They also travel to dance conventions and the studio features a competitive dance team. The studio's phone number is 503-253-8002. The website is www.xtremedancenw.com.
