A look back at November 1985 in your Memo

May 2005 was the Mid-county Memo’s 20th anniversary issue. Beginning with that issue, we have been reprinting some of our favorite front pages and images from the past 20 years.

This month we look at the front page from the November 1985 issue.

On it you’ll see three stories: One on the Mid-County sewer project and the difficulties being faced by homeowners; another on the annual Halloween party at Russell School, now called Russell Academy of Academic Achievement; and a third on the Northeast Rotary Club’s feeding and serving seniors along with the underprivileged. Good works in the community the Northeast Rotary chapter continues today.
