Merchants Bancorp, principal subsidiary for MBank, announced it has appointed Chris Antrim vice president and sales director. Antrim will drive the development, implementation and performance of bank-wide sales programs, while ensuring employees achieve all loan and deposit product goals.

Antrim “has more than 16 years experience in the financial services sector, and managed a dozen branches and several hundred million dollars in relationships in his last position,” said Tom Sciarretta, senior vice president and sales manager. “We expect his past success and forward thinking approach will generate a thriving sales effort for MBank.”

Antrim has a successful track record in Portland’s commercial banking market, where he was most recently a vice president and district manager for Wells Fargo. Antrim will leverage his extensive sales management experience and leadership skills to formulate effective sales plans, train bank sales force in deposit acquisition and retail business development, and establish measurement tools to promote and maintain a strong sales culture.
