Kaiser Permanente opens new medical office in Gateway
To improve access and convenience for its members and patients in the east metro area, Kaiser Permanente Northwest will open the new Gateway Medical Office Monday, Dec. 16.

Located in the Parkrose Heights neighborhood, in the space last occupied by Circuit City, at 1700 N.E. 102nd Ave., the Gateway Medical Office is expected to achieve Gold-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Healthcare certification. The office will be the first in Portland to achieve LEED-HC Gold designation.

According to KPNW Communications Manager Michael Foley, services available at Gateway Medical Office will include family medicine, general radiology, imaging, internal medicine, pediatrics, phlebotomy, ultrasound and social services. A pharmacy and a nurse treatment center (offering allergy injections, culture tests, immunization, wound care, vital sign measurements and patient education) will also be located at the site. Services and providers currently located at KPNW's Division Medical Office will also be moved to the new facility.
