Just the thing for a new baby A. Jay’s Baby Shoppe, in Menlo Park Plaza, at N.E. 122nd and Glisan St., is now offering a new product designed by a local resident and mother of two. Rosie Meyers, President and Founder of Sentimental Treasures, was frustrated when she tried to store all the mementos of her first child. The albums she tried were too small, and had no place to store hospital I.D. bracelets, locks of hair, or baby teeth. But Rosie didn’t just complain - she did something about it. She has created the Baby Photo Album and Keepsake Box. This is more than just a place to store pictures. Each album comes nestled in a special compartment above an elegant keepsake box including eight velvet-lined compartments of varying sizes. The boxes include a compartment specially sized for a VHS tape, and others for storing everything from hospital I.D. bracelets to birthday cards. Other unique features include: the ability to record the first five years of your baby’s life instead of just one, removable pages, photo page headings for many events, including ultrasounds, all major holidays, and godparents, to name just a few. The album also includes six pocket folders. Along with the album, you will receive a sheet of transparent stickers that make it easy to label or date pictures and keepsakes, along with plastic bags with date labels for first lock of hair. This album is one of the most comprehensive available today. The Baby Photo Album and Keepsake Box has been featured in Portland’s New Arrival Magazine, the New Jersey Suburban Parent, and Colorado Parent. Rosie Meyers was also featured on the Good Morning Oregon show on KPTV Channel 12 on Mother’s Day 2000. The Baby Photo Album and Keepsake box have even been featured in the Oregonian’s “This Week” section. The Baby Photo Album and Keepsake Box makes a great gift for expectant moms and dads, and can also provide a way to organize all your pictures and keepsakes. To purchase the album and box, available in different designs, go to A. Jay’s Baby Shoppe, 12435 N.E. Glisan, call Sentimental Treasures at 503-649-8457, or visit www.sentimentaltreasures.org.
