The city invites its citizens to the following public meetings about the annual budget.

The city is holding a hearing about the city budget tonight at Mt. Scott Community Center and a budget hearing in May at City Hall.

The purpose of these meetings is for the Mayor and City Council to receive testimony from Portland residents regarding the citywide budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Whether you’re planning to attend and testify in person, or submit written testimony, here are some tips.

Budget Committee Public Hearing
Thursday, May 11, 2017

Testimony tickets are available an hour and a half prior to start time.

They are drawn at random throughout the course of the event.

Each speaker will have two minutes to address the council.
