Story Stop at Midland Branch Library

Five-year-old Steve Connor is hunkered down for some serious reading recently at the Midland Branch of the Multnomah County Public Library. Faced with shelves and shelves of books on one side and the massive legs of his older brother Jimmy and father Jim, the youngster flipped one page after the other in search of new adventures in learning. Story Stop, a program of short stories for children, newborn to age six runs Tuesdays through Sundays at 1:30 p.m.
