Curran, Riegel honored by Parkrose School District

Mid-county Memo Executive Editor Rich Riegel (left) receives a certificate of appreciation from Parkrose School Board Chairwoman Katie Larsell during the June school board meeting held at Parkrose High School. In part, the certificate read: “In appreciation of your professional news and informative coverage of the students, staff and events of the Parkrose School District.” Memo Publisher Tim Curran received a virtually identical certificate. The certificate went on to read: “Your efforts and work to inform and educate our community through the local press is a valuable service to all the citizens and to our schools.”
