We received an e-mail — too late for the February issue — from Ali Rice at the East Portland Community Center about a class on traveling in India.

“Don’t put off the adventures you want to experience. Travel and yoga instructor Jenna Roberts wants to help empower those with the will but unsure about the way, to enjoy the possibilities of fascinating travel abroad.

“Indescribable and intense, India is a place that requires preparation before you begin the journey. Jenna will give you the inside scoop on getting around by train, bus, plane or rickshaw; budget hotels and how to choose wisely; regions and sites of interest; how to protect yourself and your wallet; and more.

“She is offering a class on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the East Portland Community Center, 740 S.E. 106th Ave. Registration is $20 per person.
For more information or to register for the class, call 503-823-3450 or visit www.portlandparks.org.”
