Reynolds High School Choir presents Valentine’s fundraiser
We received an e-mail from Karen Bohart, Reynolds High School choir director about a pair of fundraisers this weekend in support of their efforts to travel to New York City to perform at Lincoln Center. It follows:
The Reynolds High School Choir is scheduled to perform at Lincoln Center in New York, New York on Sunday March 29, 2009.
The public is invited to help students’ reach this destination by attending a performance and dinner hosted by Ristorante Di Pompello in Historic Downtown Troutdale, 117 East Historic Columbia River Highway, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, 2009.
Ristorante Di Pompello and Reynolds High School Choral Students will present a Valentine’s Day celebration the whole family can enjoy. The evening will feature a delicious Italian buffet dinner and performances by award-winning choral soloists and the chamber choir Expressions.
In addition to this opportunity to support our talented community youth the Ristorante Di Pompello has agreed to donate 10% of all dinner proceeds from any patron who is willing to say “We support the Reynolds High School Choir program.”
Tickets for the benefits are now on sale for $20.00 per adult per event and $5.00 for children age 10 and under. Contact Karen Bohart at 503-667-3186 ext. 1101 to buy your tickets.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $25.00 per adult. The Italian Buffet includes appetizers, Caesar Salad, spaghetti with marinara sauce, meat lasagna, seafood pasta, chicken tortellini, bread and either water or soda.
As part of this Valentine’s Day celebration, guests may buy raffle tickets for the chance to win a Spring Vacation get-a-away at a condominium at The Ridge in Sunriver. The 2-bedroom condo is located along a popular bike path and is within walking distance from the mall.
