Parkrose High School student missing—again
The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public’s help locating a missing minor.
Dalia Mauro-Contreras, a 15-year-old Parkrose High School student, was reported missing on June 4 when she left school in the middle of the day and never returned, police said.
The person who made the report told police the missing girl her left school work at home, but brought an extra set of clothes to school.
In the course of the investigation, police discovered a previous runaway report involving Mauro-Contreras.
Police said that over the past several months, law-enforcement flyers regarding Mauro-Contreras were distributed to police agencies in the Portland metro area where the missing girl has been known to frequent.
Investigators interviewed several people known to Dalia.
To avoid detection, police said they believe she is being accompanied by, or being assisted by a 27-year-old male family friend.
Mauro-Contreras is described as a Hispanic female, 5’0″ tall, 105 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Anyone seeing Mauro-Contreras is asked to call 9-1-1.
If anyone has information about this case, they are asked to contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
