Parkrose Educational Foundation Auction coming up

We received an e-mail from Allison Newman-Woods, the energetic and effusive chair of the Parkorse Educational Foundation’s Auction committee.
It is about the upcoming auction and why we should attend if we care about Parkrose schools and its future.

The Mid-county Memo bought a table for the 2008 auction and please, take it from somone that has been to more than a few of the Parkrose Educational Foundation Auctions — it’s fun and there are some bargains to be had. We’ll see you there. Newman-Woods’ e-mail follows …

I am sending this announcement to everyone I know. If you love Parkrose Schools and support our efforts to offer our students more please spread the word that the Auction is on April 26. Our attendance levels are down, we need the community’s support to make this a success. Please spread the word, tell your friends. Remember the Parkrose Educational Foundation supports all Parkrose School District Schools.

Buy your tickets now for the 5th Annual Parkrose Educational Foundation Dinner & Auction. This year’s auction will be held on April 26th from 6-9 p.m. at the Airport Holiday Inn in east Portland.

Purchase your tickets on-line at http://www.parkroseedfdn.org/, at your school’s main office or at the Parkrose District Office. Join others in the Parkrose community for this fun event. Remember this event raises funds for all Parkrose School District students and schools.
