Early Thursday morning, at 1:23 a.m. to be precise, police were called to the Top of the Hill Tavern, 9252 N.E. Glisan St., on the report of an armed robbery
When they arrived, employees told police that a man entered the bar armed with a handgun and demanded money.
Police said that after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bar and was last seen running east on Glisan Street.
Several officers, including a canine unit, searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the robber’s description.
He’s described as white, in his 40s, 6’2″ tall, chubby build, wearing a dark-colored mask, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and carrying a handgun.
