Memo recommends KATU-TV report on Portland Pensione
Readers of the east Portland’s Mid-county Memo may find stimulating, as we did, the news report by KATU-TV on the Portland Pensione motel’s holiday dinner held Dec. 24. To read the story, or to view a video, go to KATU-TV’s link to the story.
Another point of reference regarding this story can be found in a Perlman’s Potpourri item from the October 2006 issue of the Mid-county Memo, scroll to the bottom to this headline: “Words don’t match actions at nuisance property.”
In addition, the Memo heartily encourages its readers to tell us their opinion of the story, either pro or con, at our Web log, or blog.
Let Executive Editor Rich Riegel tell it in his words…
“I want readers of the Memo, its Web site and blog to either read the story or view the video on KATU-TV’s Web site and tell us what you think about the story, no matter your perspective.
“This blog site’s mission,” Riegel went on to say, “is to be a conduit of fact and opinion for our readers to use and share.”
“The phrase, ‘Some things are better left unsaid,’ does not apply here. We want our blog site to offer every citizen the opportunity to practice what we consider one of the most sacred of our Constitutional rights: Free speech.”
