Free massages: OCOM hosts healing arts demonstration

Received a note from our friends at east Portland’s Oregon College of Oriental Medicineдивани about an event they’re hosting next week in downtown Portland and you’re invited!

It follows:

“Mark your calendar for An Evening with OCOM:
Bringing Healing to the Heart of the City, Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, Northwest 3rd Ave. at Everett St. This event is free and open to the public.

“Please join us for a lively celebration of the transformative effects of traditional Oriental medicine.

“Experience all the tools we use for health promotion (acupuncture, massage, herbal treatments, medicinal foods) amid the beauty of the Garden, our city’s premier urban sanctuary.

Oregon College of Oriental Medicine is a proud and enthusiastic partner in Old Town/Chinatown’s cultural renaissance — our proposed relocation to the neighborhood is slated for 2010. Food  ~  Spirits  ~  Demonstrations  ~  Raffle
