In Lee Perlman’s article, “Glenhaven Park new home for skateboardersâ€, April 2006 issue, Perlman got the dollar figure allocated for a Glenhaven Skate Park wrong.
The budget for the new Glenhaven Skate Park is $387,000, of which $10,000 is a donation from Van’s Shoes. The money for Glenhaven Skate Park comes from funds reserved after passage of a November 2002 Parks Levy, designating the siting and building of two skateparks in Portland. An incorrect amount for the budget was printed. We regret the error.
