College of Oriental Medicine sets FREE seminar schedule
Below are FREE events the folks at east Portland’s Oregon College of Oriental Medicine want you to know about.
Oriental Therapeutic Massage – Shiatsu
Attendees will learn how shiatsu can help reduce stress, treat common ailments and ease aches and pains. Sample neck, shoulder and hands massages will be available.
Saturday, March 14th from 10 a.m. to noon
Eating for the Spring Season – Learn what Springtime foods are most beneficial to your health Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to noon
Both free events will be held at: Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, 10541 S.E. Cherry Blossom Drive.
And, here are two more events presented by OCOM, to be held at Portland’s Classical Chinese Garden, 239 N.W. Everett St.
Eat Your Greens: The Healing Power of Vegetables
Mom always said to eat your vegetables, now, find out why. Join them for a cooking demonstration and engaging talk about the healing properties of vegetables.
March 17, from 2-3p.m.
Berries, Bark and Roots: Benefiting from Chinese Herbs
Join them as they venture into the land of Chinese herbal medicine. This seminar introduces you to Chinese herbal medicine basics and helps learn how Chinese herbs can benefit you.
Tuesday, March 31, from 2- 3p.m.
The fee for these events is the Portland Classical Chinese Garden admission fee.
