Good World offers good food to east Portland

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

There’s a new place for lunch and dinner in the Parkrose area.
Good World Chinese Restaurant & Lounge opened earlier this year at 10721 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in Parkrose

Owners Kevin and Wan Su, husband and wife, have created a restaurant that is friendly and inviting. They told the Memo that the Chinese food they offer is low in fat and yet high in fiber, which they say is excellent for the diet.

Good World serves both Cantonese and Szechwan style Chinese food, along with what is more traditionally called “Chinese-American” food. The chef expertly prepares each dish, and there are literally dozens of different choices.

Reduced service is proposed for, among others, Line 12 Sandy, Line 15 Belmont, Line 19 Glisan, Line 22 Parkrose and Line 27 Market/Main. Service on Line 20 Burnside/Stark would be discontinued between Southeast 106th Avenue and Stark Street and West Burnside Street and 19th Avenue.
