As many know, the Oregon State University Beavers baseball team won the 2006 College World Series, only the second National Collegiate Athletic Association championship in school history.
Eddie Kunz, a Parkrose native and diamond artist at Parkrose High School is a fireball throwing relief pitcher, and was an integral part of the Beavers CWS run.

Oregon State Rep. Jeff Merkley (D-Portland) and United States Senator Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) will hold a public forum Saturday, August 19th in the St. Therese Parish Social Center in east Portland.
